Horror Story Napkins:
StoryTelling in An Unconventional
& Unsettling Manner

This is a series of 12 short stories printed on napkins with unsettling photography with food as the only prop used to create the gore. Chocolate syrup, ham slices, sour cream, and ground beef are a handful of select props used for the imagination.

The missing beginnings and endings of these stories are meant to add intrigue;  they also offers a far more personal and internal experience for the reader.
This is the first project where I have integrated my creative writing and photography into one final product. I have always found myself with a curiosity for unsettling and chill inducing stories.

This project offers an opportunity to play with horror story themes while leaving the reader of the story with the ability to make their own choices. What is the beginning and ending? What did happen in this image?
And most importantly, do you want to use this dark story and place it on your lips to clean your face?
